Who can use Bitcoin Cloud Miner?
Adults aged 18 and over with an Android phone, where receiving cryptocurrency rewards is allowed. One account per person.
Does it cost anything?
No. There is nothing to buy in the app. It is funded by ads.
Do I need a crypto wallet to start?
No. You only need a Lightning Address or a FaucetPay account when you make your first withdrawal, after 30 mining days.
Is the app in my language?
The app is in English for now. The store listing and this website explain everything you need.
Mining
Does the app mine on my phone?
No. Nothing is mined on your device and the app never uses your processor or battery for mining. Sessions are tracked on our servers; the rig animation is an illustration.
Does mining continue when I close the app?
Yes. A session runs for six hours whether the app is open or not.
What is a mining day?
A UTC calendar day in which you mined at least six hours. Days don't have to be consecutive.
How do boosts work?
You get seven boosts a day. Each adds +5% speed to the running session and the next one. They reset at 00:00 UTC.
Why do I sometimes see an ad before a session?
Ads pay for the rewards. An ad may show before you start a session, use a boost or play a game, at most once every couple of minutes.
Withdrawals
When can I withdraw?
Once your balance reaches 0.0000001 BTC (10 sats) and you have 30 mining days.
What is the network fee?
0.00000005 BTC (5 sats), deducted from each withdrawal to cover sending it. You see the amount you'll receive before you confirm.
How long does a withdrawal take?
Requests are reviewed by hand and normally paid within 72 hours. The status in the app changes to Paid with a payment reference.
Why was my withdrawal rejected?
Usually because of multiple accounts, bots, emulators or fake invites. Rejected amounts go back to your balance, and the reason is shown in the app.
Can I send to a regular Bitcoin address?
Not at the moment. Amounts this small are below the on-chain dust limit, so payouts go over Lightning or FaucetPay.
Games, invites and account
Are the games gambling?
No. They are free with a daily limit, you can't bet or buy plays, and the odds are published in the app and on the rules page.
How do invites work?
Your friend gets a bonus when they sign up with your code. You get a bonus when they finish their first session, and +2% speed once they reach 7 mining days.
I forgot my password
Tap "Forgot password?" on the sign-in screen. We'll email you a link to set a new one.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile and tap Delete account, or use the delete account page. Withdraw first: any balance is lost.
